As part of our AW23 collection we have one extra release: the BWS-04 SCOUT OVERSHIRT in a new Japanese ombre check flannel. Available in the colours red and grey, this 9.5 oz. flannel twill has been brushed on both sides for an extra comfy touch and feel.
The ombre check pattern acts like an optical illusion; from a distance, the pattern appears to perfectly blend each colour to the other, creating a smooth gradient design. The term comes from the French word ombré, which translates to ‘shadow’ or ‘shaded’.
The fabric was originally acquired for a project some years ago, that, unfortunately, never saw the light of day. However, we found a new purpose for it and made a limited series of our best-selling scout overshirt. Due to this, only 71 red shirts, and 59 grey shirts have been produced.
