Benzak Denim Developers is an underground denim project, for the true connoisseur of jeans and denim, and all that is related. I, Benzak, run this as a one-man-business, from a small atelier in The Netherlands.

Instead of the word ‘brand’, I’d rather use the word ‘project’ for Benzak Denim Developers, because there are no seasonal collections; I only create what I like and would wear myself. Therefore every product designed and developed by BDD is considered a project on its own and will always rightfully carry the trademarks:

BDD only works with relatively small factories and ateliers to guarantee and maintain the high quality of the product. Also, BDD only uses denim fabrics made on an original narrow shuttle loom, back from the days, to guarantee authenticity and the ‘vintage feel & look’.

Being a lover of unwashed, untreated denim, I will only design and develop denim products in their raw state. Dry denim garments will form according the shape of the wearer’s body. By not washing it for as long as possible the fading and creasing will create a unique effect, reflecting the lifestyle of its wearer. Wear your jeans every day and let the denim become a part of you!
